SPRING BOOK SALE, JUNE 6-9, 2018

The semi-annual Friends’ book sale is coming right up, so be sure to mark your calendars so you won’t miss it.  We’ll have thousands of books, including fiction, children’s, history, war, politics, biography, cook books, gardening, science, animals, sports, poetry, classics, humor, health, art, crafts, home, self-help, religion/inspiration, local interest, romance, miscellaneous; and books, music, and movies on CDs and DVDs.  Most hard cover books are $1, and paperbacks 50 cents. Most children’s books are 25 cents. There is also a table of books priced at $2 and up.

Wednesday, June 6:  5:00-7:30 p.m.  Friends “Members Only” Night   

Only Friends members may attend on Wednesday evening and get first pick.  You may join or renew at the door.

On Saturday only, you may purchase a Friends tote bag for $6 at the door and fill it once for free.  (Offer only valid for bags purchased Saturday morning).  Or purchase anything without buying a bag.

All proceeds from the book sale go to the Friends of the Lane Memorial Library, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to support the library and its programs. This is one of our main fundraisers, and your purchases will help the Friends in sponsoring the library’s summer programs, discounted passes to area museums and other attractions, and various activities, equipment, and other enhancements on a continuing basis.  We cannot do this without your support.  We hope to see you there!
